Plum Purple

Purple, as well as any darker colors, are always great and some of my favorite colors for Fall and Winter months. This Plum Purple vintage style handmade necklace from the Gypsy Manders collection is sure to be a favorite accessory.

This is a handmade vintage style necklace. It was made with a vintaj brass blank with a purple background. The flower is riveted to the blank, and is made from vintaj filigrees. The chain is thin but durable and accented with purple swarovski crystals. It measures 17 inches. Adjustments can be made at purchase upon request.

Going old school

Vintage jewelry seems to be all the rage sooooo, I've decided to delve into the world of vintage jewelry making. This will be an expensive endeavor, unlike my hemp jewelry this is going to put an aching on the pocket book, but I'm hoping it will pay off in the end! I've got some ideas a swirling in the noggin, and hoping if they will come to fruition so will the green in my pocket book. On a side note green in my pocket is not all I hope to achieve, but it will hopefully be a side effect. No, what I really want is to see people wearing jewelry and go, "Hey! I made that!" I loved making it, they love wearing it and that love will connect! I want to bring back the love of handmade. I want everyone to realize that something doesn't have to have a designer label stamped on it to be beautiful. Those products are made with hate and greed, and that's the energy this country carries around with it. I want to see the vibe in this world change, and maybe, just maybe, this world can be a happier place. O.k. I've spewed enough hippy garbage for one day. Getting Started.

I am new to the whole blogging experience, but I have tons of ideas swirling through my head and am hoping this becomes an outlet so I can sleep at night! I just want to start out by introducing myself. I am a 26 year old walking contradiction. Just when you think you've put me in a category, I catch you by surprise. I'm a bit of a hippy, bit of a goth, I work in a vet clinic, I have an Etsy I'm hoping will hit it big!  I'm a vegetarian, I have a motorcycle, and used to drive a Camaro (except it doesn't run anymore) I recycle, I read, I run, I do Yoga, I enjoy the outdoors. I'm an Atheist. Sometimes when I am trying to say vacuum, I say mow instead. I have wonderful friends and a crazy family. I've had scurvy, I sometimes wakeup and can't move, I talk to much, I listen well, I  like to think I give good advice, and I'm good at taking advice as well. I'm popular, I'm unpopular.
